國際著名室內(nèi)設計公司SLD （全稱︰Steve Leung Designers Ltd.，梁志天設計師有限公司）以現(xiàn)代的設計手法，從中國傳統(tǒng)四合院汲取靈感，打造棕櫚島亞特蘭蒂斯度假酒店的迪拜中餐廳——元餐廳，而此優(yōu)秀杰作更于國際設計大賽 "Commercial Interior Design Awards 2014" 中，一舉奪得中東區(qū)休閑娛樂組別的年度室內(nèi)設計大獎 Interior Design of the Year。
元餐廳整體布局和諧對稱，在設計師的現(xiàn)代演繹中，透過引人注目的設計元素，營造熱情時尚的氛圍；配合幽韻十足的家具飾品，將優(yōu)雅雋逸的中式意蘊和雍容典雅的高貴氣質(zhì)展現(xiàn)得淋漓盡致，為賓客呈現(xiàn)一方精致華美、風雅備至的饕餮圣地。
元餐廳是亞特蘭蒂斯度假酒店的第一家高級中餐廳，設計師從傳統(tǒng)中式建筑“四合院”中汲取靈感，透過現(xiàn)代設計手法，融合傳統(tǒng)中式建筑之美，為整個空間營造傳統(tǒng)文化的優(yōu)雅氣質(zhì)。獨特的燈光布置與尊貴雅致的用餐氛圍，讓賓客遠在中東也能享受地道的中式餐飲體驗。
一扇精心雕琢的深色木門引領(lǐng)賓客步入餐廳，迎面一道“萬”字紋通花木格墻透出融融暖光，映襯著前方精美的瓷器裝飾，向客人傳達著來自東方的殷切問候。
前行數(shù)步，恢弘敞闊的大廳隨即映入眼簾。大廳以優(yōu)雅的藍灰二色為主調(diào)，由中央一座巨型天窗引入自然光線，在古色古香的中式通花窗欞的裝飾下，猶如四合院中四面環(huán)墻的庭院。天窗下懸掛了著名日本設計師澤田廣俊為餐廳量身定制的藝術(shù)裝置，仿似成千上萬振翅欲飛的銀色飛鳥盤旋其中，氣宇非凡。米黃色透光云石鋪就的舞臺之上，安放著一排精致的長桌和藍色織錦高背座椅，打造格調(diào)高雅的用餐環(huán)境。大廳一側(cè)的吧臺設計華麗大氣，由米黃色縞瑪瑙和珍珠母貝馬賽克拼成的背景墻璀璨奪目，賓客可愜意地在這一片瑰麗之中細味醇酒，盡享歡愉。
穿過大廳，踏著煙灰色橡木地板來到一片暖咖色的卡座區(qū)。其坐北朝南的位置恰似四合院之中的正房。壁墻上一幅幅雋逸靈動的中國畫刺繡為空間注入絲絲雅趣，搭配線條優(yōu)美的弧形米色織錦長椅和柔軟舒適的地毯，讓賓客恍若穿越千年，步入古時文人墨客云集的清雅幽居。
貴賓廳坐落餐廳南側(cè)入口處，其位置猶如四合院之中的倒座房。中式通花門板墻襯托著兩側(cè)以“錦鯉”為主題的特色墻，在湖水綠地毯的映襯下，幻化出一幅 “錦鯉躍清塘” 的優(yōu)美畫卷，趣味盎然。廳內(nèi)還安裝了一排可靈活劃分空間的折迭門，以滿足不同場合的需求。
設計師以現(xiàn)代手法，把四合院建筑的藝術(shù)精髓與東方元素重新演繹，加上細膩的布局，把餐廳打造成和諧雅致、品味高尚的中式食府，讓賓客在亦古亦今的優(yōu)雅氛圍下，樂享饕餮中式盛宴。

With a distinguished modern touch and inspirations rooted in traditional Chinese culture, Yuan successfully wins the “Interior Design of the Year: Leisure & Entertainment, Middle East” in "Commercial Interior Design Awards 2014”.
In a harmonious and symmetric contemporary approach, the designer tactfully infuses distinctive style and warmth into the space through exquisite design elements, furniture and embellishments, fully depicting the ethereal grandeur of oriental culture, present a culinary paradise soaked in unparalleled charm and elegance.
As the first fine dining Chinese restaurant at Atlantis The Palm Dubai Hotel & Resort, Yuan demonstrates the aerial beauty of old China, with the recapture of traditional Chinese quadrangles ‘Siheyuan’, literally meaning a courtyard surrounded by buildings on all four sides. The design unfolds the fundamental yet aesthetic Chinese architecture, with a contemporary touch and delicate use of lighting scheme, providing a graceful environment for discerning guests to enjoy an authentic Chinese dining experience in Middle East.
Passing through a pair of dark wooden doors with exquisite carvings at the standalone entrance from the hotel, guests are warmly welcomed by a large piece of glowing latticed façade and delicate porcelains in the foyer.
A few steps inside comes to the spacious and magnificent dining hall in blue and grey, which is compared to a courtyard of a Siheyuan. This area is enriched by a dramatic skylight embellished with Chinese screens and a hanging enchanting art piece tailor made by the famous Japanese designer Hirotoshi Sawada, recalling an elegant movement of a thousand of fluttery silver birds. Running underneath there is a series of exquisite tables and high back chairs with beautiful blue brocade, sitting on a glimmering raised platform in beige for dancing. A dazzling bar is located aside, with a luminous backdro of beige onyx stones and a mosaic of mother of pearl shells. People can enjoy drinking in such glamorous yet relaxed dinning environment.
Traversing the smoked oak flooring is the upper dining hall in brown palette, positioned to the north of the layout and acting as an adjoining principal house of a Siheyuan. It is adorned with Chinese paintings embroidered on wall panels while curved benches with refined cream brocade sit on a soft rug, projecting a tranquil, elegant and glamorous place for literati in old days.
In the south, next to the entrance sits the private room, serving as an opposite room of a Siheyuan. Large screen doors and panels offset the koi-patterned feature walls and the aquamarine carpet, conjuring up a beautiful picture of a fish leaping out of a pond in a Chinese courtyard house and filling the space with a sense of pleasure. Folding doors are installed to flexibly separate the room to serve clients in different occasions.
Serving with splendid flair and ultimate comfort, Yuan seamlessly combines the unique characteristics of Siheyuan and reveals a strong classical tone of old China in a Middle East city. The designer tactfully blends the contemporary design with classic elegance, creating a harmonious and impeccable place for guests to enjoy distinctive Chinese cuisines.
